*Article 54 of Law No. 71-1130 of December 31, 1971 reforming certain judicial and legal professions, provides that "no one may, directly or through an intermediary, on a habitual and remunerated basis, give legal consultations or draw up documents under private signature, for others [...] if he does not meet certain conditions". 
Not being an attorney, a jurist cannot carry out legal consultation, but can provide information on the state of the law or case law. 

A jurist cannot also draw up private documents but can offer standard contracts to his clients, which is then up to them to personalize them.
